I feel like I start every DA letter this way, but VERY, very sorry this has taken me so long to post. I'm the worst, etc. Please don't think my prompts are the worst.
In general, here are some things I am very into: fake dating, friends-to-lovers, social media usage in fic (be it FB, Tinder, meeting online, whatever), AUs (they don't have to play hockey!), pining, accidentally married, "oops you're my best friend but apparently I also want to bone you and also I love you," long-distance relationships, any sort of phone/text sex, families being written into the story, kidfic, resolved angst, soulmate AUs, etc.
Things I am NOT really into: A/B/O, fantasy/supernatural stories, animal transformation, rape/noncon, excessive recreational drug use.
Specific prompts: (I'm sorry they aren't THAT specific!)
1. Tom Wilson/Michael Latta: Seriously, these two are my ship to end all ships. They're the ship that sails itself. I will read anything about these two. If you're into listening to music while you write, the song Strip It Down by Luke Bryan is my SONG for them. It's just a sexy song, and always makes me think of them. If you want to write me an AU where these two meet in college and hate each other and then fall in love, go for it. I'll read about them going on vacation together (which they've done so wonderfully!) or going to concerts (which they do, like, every week), or just sitting on the couch watching TV. "Oops didn't realize we were dating" is a great trop for them.
2. Brandon Saad/Ben Smith: I'm really, really into AUs for these two. Ben Smith: kindergarten teacher is my favorite thing in the world, not going to lie. If you don't want to go down the kidfic route, any AU will do! I'll read a college/university AU, or a coffeeshop AU. With these two, if you want to include other Hawks/Rockford guys, the more the merrier. I love them all (just please no Kane.)
3. Nick Leddy/Brandon Saad: These two are pretty similar to Ben and Brandon, to me. I just love, love love their friendship. If you want to tell me about them slowly realizing they're falling for each other in Chicago and then getting split up by the trades, I'm all for it. Long distance relationship works wonderfully for them. Social media fic or epistolary fic is great, too. Hawks/Rockford guys are awesome here too, especially since they all seemed so close.
4. Paul Martin/Ben Smith: This is becoming a theme, but I will be happy with anything you write me about these two. We really don't ever get any interaction between them, but in my head it's all wonderful and nerdy and full of history references and, like, Game of Thrones references. If you want to tell me about Paul being the professor to Ben's TA and that crazy relationship, or, go super domestic and tell me the story of Paul crashing on Ben's couch when he gets traded to the Sharks and then just kind of... staying... I'd be all for it.
I'm sorry these aren't super detailed, but like I said, I'll be happy with anything you want to write me about any of these pairings!
